After configuring data source connections, Customer or Data administrators must enable the connection to collect data using the Cloud Bridge.
Log in as a Customer or Data Administrator.
Click Data Sources > Data Centers.
Synchronize data centers to view previously configured data centers.
For successful synchronization, make sure the cloud bridge agent is configured correctly and running.
Test connection to verify settings.
Create data source connections:
Select Data Sources > Data Source Connections.
Click +.
Add a name and description.
Use the Data Centers drop down to select the data center in which the Data Source Connection resides.
Save the data source connection. Note that each data source connection has a unique ID.
Copy the unique ID.

Click Import Data Source Connections.
Select the JSON file to import.
Specify the data center.
Import.
NOTE:You can import and export multiple data source connections. You can import new or overwrite existing data source connections, but for new connections you must specify a data center. When you select Export Data Source Connections, OpenText Identity Governance exports the data centers as part of the export file. OpenText Identity Governance also exports the data centers and data source connections when you export the identity or application data sources.
Create credentials for the data source connection in Cloud Bridge. For information about adding credentials, seeManage Credentials for Data Source Connections
section in the Cloud Bridge Agent Installation and Administration Guide.

Customer or Data administrators must enable use of Cloud Bridge, specify a data source connection, and specify unique parameters when required to collect data from on-premises and Cloud data sources to the OpenText Identity Governance as a Service catalog and when fulfilling change requests.
NOTE:Ensure that you have configured your data source connection before enabling the cloud bridge connection in your collector or fulfillment target template.
To enable Cloud Bridge Data Source Connection:
Log in as a Customer or Data Administrator.
Click Data Sources > Identities or Data Sources > Applications.
Click + and select a collector template.
(Conditional) Click Upgrade if a higher version of the collector template is available.
Enable the Cloud Bridge connection and specify a data source connection. Note that the User Name and Password are no longer configurable except in collectors and fulfillment target templates such as SCIM and REST GitHub which can be authenticated with different authentication methods.
(Conditional) When using a template that allows authentication method configuration, specify the authentication method.
Click Test Connection to verify your settings and connection.
Specify other fields as required and save the template.
