To Position a HotSpot Relative to a 3270 Screen’s Bottom Row or Right Corner

  1. From the Options menu, choose Settings.

  2. From the Categories list, select HotSpots.

  3. Select the Assignments Tab.

  4. Select a defined HotSpot from the list and choose Edit.

    -or-

    Choose Add to define a new HotSpot.

  5. Specify the relative position you want:

    Do This

    The bottom of the screen

    Enter a negative number in the Row field, where -1 is the screen's bottom row, -2 is the row above it, and so on.

    The right edge of the screen

    Enter a negative number in the Column field, where -1 is the rightmost column, -2 is the next column to the left, and so on.
