NOTE:The NUMLOCK key is normally used as PF1. However, on some machines, particularly laptops, the NUMLOCK key is needed to turn on and off the embedded numeric keypad. If you are using a laptop with an embedded numeric keypad, to disable NUMLOCK from sending PF1 to the host but retain NUMLOCK functionality, you need to edit your Keyboard map.

To map the VT NUMLOCK key

In a VT session, from the Options menu, choose Settings.
Under Categories, choose Keyboard Maps.
Select VT420.EKM from the list of available keyboard maps.
Choose Edit to display the VT420.EKM keyboard map in the Keyboard Map Editor.
Double-click the PF1 key to display the Action page for that key.
Under Category select Control Keys, and select Nothing Mapped under Commands.
