Change Settings Category

The following Settings commands can be secured.

  • Color Settings

    Removes Color from the Category list in the Settings dialog box and from the commands available on the Action page. The user will not be able to customize the colors of his or her session, including create color schemes, when this command is secured.

  • Connections Settings

    Removes Connection from the Category list in the Settings dialog box and from the commands available on the Action page.

  • Display Settings

    Removes Display from the Category list in the Settings dialog box and from the commands available on the Action page.

  • Edit Settings

    Removes Edit from the Category list in the Settings dialog box and from the commands available on the Action page. The user will not be able to modify the way Cut, Copy, and Paste work on his or her host screen when this command is secured.

    We recommend securing Settings in the Edit category when Edit Settings is secured.

  • File Transfer Settings

    Removes File Transfer from the Category list in the Settings dialog box and from the commands available on the Action page. The user will not be able to create a File Transfer scheme when this command is secured.

    Users can still transfer files.

  • Font Settings

    Removes Font from the Category list in the Settings dialog box and from the commands available on the Action page. The user will not be able to select a different font, or change the Autosize Font and Autosize Window settings when this command is secured.

  • HotSpots Settings

    Removes HotSpots from the Category list in the Settings dialog box and from the commands available on the Action page. The user will not be able to create HotSpots when this command is secured.

    We recommend securing HotSpots in the View category when HotSpot Settings is secured.

  • Keyboard Maps Settings

    Removes Keyboard Maps from the Category list in the Settings dialog box and from the commands available on the Action page. The user will not be able to create a keyboard map when this command is secured.

  • Macro Setting

    Removes Macro from the Category list in the Settings dialog box and from the commands available on the Action page. The user will not be able to create Macros when this command is secured.

  • Menu Settings

    Removes Menus from the Category list in the Settings dialog box and from the commands available on the Action page. The user will not be able to edit menus when this command is secured.

  • Navigation Settings

    Removes Navigation from the Category list in the Settings dialog box and from the commands available on the Action page. The user will not be able to record paths when this command is secured.

  • QuickPads Settings

    Removes QuickPads from the Category list in the Settings dialog box and from the commands available on the Action page. The user will not be able to create QuickPads when this command is secured.

    We recommend securing QuickPads in the View category when QuickPad Settings is secured.

  • Toolbars Settings

    Removes Toolbars from the Category list in the Settings dialog box and from the commands available on the Action page. The user will not be able to create, edit, or delete Toolbars when this command is secured.

    We recommend securing Toolbars in the View category when Toolbar Settings is secured.

  • Printer Settings

    Removes Printer from the Category list in the Settings dialog box and from the commands available on the Action page.
