As Extra! prints, you can perform any of the following actions:
Hold Print: Temporarily suspends print jobs in the mainframe's spooler. You can use this command to store several print jobs so they can be printed at one time, or to temporarily halt printing to change page layout options. Hold print enables the PA1, PA2, Form Feed, Cancel Print, and Align Form commands. The mainframe suspends all spooled print jobs until you again choose the Hold Print command.
PA1 and PA2: (3270 only) Sends PA1 and PA2 commands to your mainframe application. These keys simulate the PA1 and PA2 keys on a 3287 printer control panel. The functions performed by these keys depend on the mainframe application from which you are printing. (Some applications may not support these functions.)
The PA1 and PA2 commands are available to you if the session is configured for an LU1 printer resource. To confirm that you are configured for an LU1 printer resource, choose Session Status from the View menu of the printer session.
Cancel Print: Cancels a print job at any time if you are configured for an LU1 printer resource. To confirm that you are configured for an LU1 printer resource, choose Session Status from the View menu of the printer session.
Form Feed: Sends a Form Feed command to your printer, immediately ejecting the current page from the printer.
Align Form: Tests the alignment of text on preprinted forms on the printer. You can specify the text to print and the row and column at which it should be printed.
