Preparing for IND$FILE File Transfers

If you want to change the file transfer type while in a session, follow these procedures before you send or receive files.

  • You must have an active session with a host before attempting to transfer files.

  • You can use the same commands for transferring files individually or in a batch.

  • You can both send and receive files in the same batch.

  • You can send a file to a host using whichever transfer method you have selected by dragging the file from File Explorer and dropping it on a session that is connected to the host.

  • Use the Advanced page to define the advanced parameters for a file transfer scheme. All three host types share common advanced IND$FILE settings.
