From the Tools menu, choose Transfer File.
The Transfer File dialog box appears.
Select Send.
NOTE:Send is the default direction of transfer when this dialog box appears.
Under PC, in the Filename box, enter the name of the existing PC file: either type the name (and path, if required) directly in the field, or choose the Browse button to search for a PC file.
Under Host, in the Filename box, enter the name of the new mainframe file (or existing mainframe file, if you are appending): either type the name (and path, if required) directly in the field, or choose the Browse button to search for a Host file.
When you send a file and you supply a Host filename that already exists, the PC file overwrites the mainframe file unless you select the Append to Existing Host File option from the IND$FILE Settings General page.
Select the host type from the list. For most file transfers, the default settings are adequate. However, you can change the settings to control how the PC file you are transferring will be stored on the mainframe.
(Optional) To edit the settings of the transfer scheme you are using, choose the Settings button.
Choose the Transfer button to begin the transfer.
The File Transfer Progress dialog box is displayed during the transfer informing you of the transfer status.
