Defining a connection
If the
Mainframe Explorer
window is not displayed, click
View
>
Mainframe Explorer
.
Restriction:
You can only have one connection defined
at any one time
. If you require a new connection, you must edit the existing connection.
In the
Mainframe Explorer
window, double-click
Create new connection
.
The
Specify connection details
window appears.
Enter the appropriate information for the following options:
Option
Description
Name
The name that describes the connection
IP node
The IP address of the mainframe
Port
The port to use to connect to the mainframe
Click
OK
.
