Use this page to create a new SysC. A SysC is a definition of a CCI system connection.
If you displayed this page by clicking Copy on a previous page, the values on the previous page are used as the basis for the new SysC.

Specify the name of this SysC. Can be up to four characters: the first character must be A-Z, @, #, or $; trailing characters can be any of these, or 0-9. The name is forced to upper case.
Choose a group to which this SysC will belong. The list of groups from which you can choose include only those which can be edited by you.
Specify a description of the transaction program (can be up to 60 characters).
Specify the machine name; consists of the Local LU Alias of the client machine and the Mode used by CCIAPPC when issuing the APPC ALLOCATE verb to initiate a conversation with the server TP. The format is:

Specify the CCI protocol to be used by this connection:
Specify the text hostname or dotted decimal address of the target server.
Specify the decimal value of the port that the target server listens on.
Specify the name of the network over which the connection is established.
Specify the maximum number of sessions that can use this connection.
Specify the one- to four-character transaction ID. When MSS receives a request to start a transaction, it only looks at the first four characters of the TP name.
Specify the priority for transactions run from this terminal. Defaults to 0 (zero). Terminal priority is one factor in determining a transaction's execution priority, which is the sum of:
The sum cannot be greater than 255.
Check this to specify that the connection defined by this SysC is in service.
Specify a user ID to be associated with the connection. Mandatory if no sign-on takes place on the connection.
Choose the national language in which messages are sent over the connection. You can choose English or Kanji.
Specify the security name of the connection. Can be up to eight alphanumeric characters from the set A through Z, 0 through 9, $, @ and #.
Choose the level of security required when a user issues an attach request over this connection:
Specify an operator ID used for routing messages. Specify this for a terminal that cannot be signed on, such as a printer. If you specify an operator ID for a terminal that can be signed on, it is overridden by the operator ID specified in the user's sign-on table entry. Up to three alphanumeric characters.
Specify the operator priority for transactions run from this terminal. Specify this for a terminal that cannot be signed on, such as a printer. If you specify it for a terminal that can be signed on, it is overridden by the operator priority specified in the user's sign-on table entry. Defaults to 0(zero). Operator priority is one factor in determining a transaction's execution priority, which is the sum of:
