- From the main menu, click
Tools > SQL Option for DB2 > Configuration > Client Options.
- Click the
Connect tab.
- In the
Network Info group, type the server name in the
Server Name field.
- Select the communications protocol you want to use to connect to the XDB Server from the list.
- In the
Connect To group, type a default location for the new server.
- Type the AuthID you want to user to connect to the new server.
- Click
OK.
Note: Some communications protocols require additional information to be specified in the
xdb.ini file. Contact your system administrator if you experience difficulty in connecting to a new server.
