Configuring the Host for SNA Access to XDB Link

To use XDB Link with SNA:

1. Verify that VTAM is set up to allow independent LU6.2 access to host data. Have the VTAM systems programmer complete the VTAM Worksheet.
2. Ensure that independent LU6.2 and 3270 support have been generated for the physical unit (PU) supporting XDB Link:
   • Create the PU.
   • Create an independent LU definition.
   • Create a mode entry that supports parallel sessions and is compatible with IBMRDB.
