mfims stage1ext command

Exports transactions defined in an IMS stage 1 file to a transaction file.

Syntax:

mfims stage1ext stage1file transactionfile

Parameters:

stage1file The stage 1 file downloaded from the mainframe.
transactionfile The name of the transaction file to be created.

Comments:

Run the mfims stage1ext command from an Enterprise Developer command prompt and from the directory that contains your stage 1 file.

If you do not specify the name of the transaction file, Enterprise Developer uses the default name of tranexp.txt.

The transaction definition file is created in the current directory.
