COBOL Requirements

Describes the COBOL program requirements for accessing the Public CASSPOOL API.
Any COBOL program that accesses the Public CASSPOOL API must:
  • Include the mfpubcas copybook in Working-Storage
  • Move a function code to the appropriate Working-Storage field
  • Populate the key fields and the key-id
  • Call the mvscaspb utility using the mfpubcas copybook fields in Working-Storage
