System Location Path

The system location path specifies where the XDB Server looks for system tables containing information about all locations that are accessible to this XDB Server. These system tables are in addition to the system tables that are maintained in the DSNDB06 database for each location.

Enter a path to a specific drive (volume) and directory. Do not specify a location name.

Note: You specify this path when you install the XDB Server. Change the system path only when you need to physically move the files comprising your SYSTEM location.

To set the parameter on Windows 2000:

  1. Click the Paths tab.
  2. Enter the path in the System Location Path text box.
