- Password security is active and an incorrect password or user-ID was supplied.

- Password security is not active and the logon validation by the module FSSECLOG failed.
Resolution:
If the password file security option is:
- Active, ensure that the application program has supplied a valid user-ID and password to the Fileshare Client. Also ensure that the user-ID and password are in the password file that was specified when the Fileshare Server was started.
- Inactive, the logon has been denied by the FSSECLOG module. This module supplied with the Fileshare Server enables any Fileshare Client to log on to the Fileshare Server. This therefore suggests that the logon has been denied by a user-supplied FSSECLOG module and the appropriate action should be taken.
