An error occurred in VS-VALIDATE-KLEN. The key length parameter is greater than the key length specified in the data view. The key length specified in the data view is used.
VSM-2290-00-E Operator should be EQUAL
An error occurred in VS-VALIDATE-OPERATOR. A OBTAIN-PREV or PREVIOUS parameter was coded with an operator other than EQUAL.
VSM-2300-00-E Operator should be EQUAL or GTEQ
An error occurred in VS-VALIDATE-OPERATOR. An operator other than EQUAL or GTEQ was coded in a CICS program.
VSM-2310-00-E Operator not valid operator
An invalid operator was found in VS-VALIDATE-OPERATOR.
VSM-2330-00-E File used but not opened
An error occurred in VS-EPILOGUE-MACRO. You coded a VSAM database call without coding an OPEN for the file.
VSM-2340-00-E File opened but not closed
An error occurred in VS-EPILOGUE-MACRO. You coded an OPEN call without coding a CLOSE for the file.
VSM-2350-00-E File closed but not opened
An error occurred in VS-EPILOGUE-MACRO. You coded a CLOSE call without coding an OPEN for the file.
VSM-2360-00-E PROCOPT violation file
An error occurred in VS-VALIDATE-PROCOPT. This message occurs when &VS-PROCOPT-WARNING = 2. You coded a VSAM call that is not allowed according to the file processing option in the data view.
VSM-2370-00-E Linkage not allowed in CICS program use TP-LINKAGE commands
An error occurred in DB-PD-STACKED-EPILOGUE. The &COPY-SECTION variable was set to linkage for a CICS program. &COPY-SECTION should be set to WORKING-STORAGE for CICS programs.
VSM-2380-00-E File unknown
This message occurred in VS-VALIDATE-FILE. You coded the OPEN/CLOSE call, but specified a file that is unknown to the data view.
VSM-2390-00-E VSM-2600-00-E Entry sequenced data sets (ESDS) must use EQUAL operator
This message occurred in VS-VALIDATE-OPERATOR. You used an operator other than EQUAL for an ESDS file type.
VSM-2450-00-E AMB VSAM ERROR - &ampVS-HOLD-DEFAULT SHOULD BE PROCOPT HOLD OR NOHOLD VALUE value
The CARDIN variable &VS-HOLD-DEFAULT was assigned a value other than HOLD, NOHOLD, or PROCOPT.
VSM-2460-00-E AMB VSAM error - INTO keyword for DB retrieval commands only
The INTO keyword was used on a non-retrieval DB call.
VSM-2466-00-E AMB VSAM error - INTO keyword invalid with REF keyword
The INTO keyword was used on a DB-OBTAIN with the REF keyword. The REF keyword indicates file positioning only - not record retrieval.
VSM-2470-00-E AMB VSAM error - FROM keyword for DB-STORE and DB-MODIFY only
The FROM keyword was used on a retrieval call.
VSM-2480-00-E AMB VSAM error - DB-ERASE with key qualification invalid with sequential access mode
The WHERE key qualification for DB-ERASE is invalid when SEQUENTIAL access is specified.
VSM-2481-00-E AMB VSAM error - SUB and OF keywords used for key qualification only
Use the SUB and OF keywords only with calls specifying the WHERE key qualification to subscript or qualify the data being moved to the record key.
VSM-2500-00-E AMB VSAM error - PROCOPT violation file name command in violation procopts for file
The Data view PROCOPT (processing option) for the named file does not include the processing option for the DB call.

This message occurred in MVS VS-OBTAIN-NEXT. You coded the OBTAIN-NEXT/DB-OBTAIN with the RESET parameter. The RESET parameter is ignored.

This message occurred in VS-VALIDATE-PROCOPT, where &VS-PROCOPT-WARNING = 1. You coded a VSAM call that is not allowed according to the file processing option in the data view.
