Running a Batch Export Session

Restriction: This topic applies to Windows environments only.

Saved Batch Export files have a file name extension of .exp and are typically saved in the current application path. You can specify a different path for your batch file when you save it.

To run the Batch Export session:

  1. Click the Run Batch command from the File menu.
  2. Choose the desired Batch Export file.
  3. Click OK. If you choose an old-format batch file, Export will prompt you to convert the file so that SQLWizard can run it.
    Note:

If you are running under Windows, you can start a batch session by double clicking the .exp file in the File Manager.

Commands initiated from the .exp file begin to run in batch mode. If any bad data is found, error messages will be displayed depending on the way you set up your Export Options. (To set Export options, use the Options command from the Export menu.)

Export processing messages are displayed across the bottom of the SQLWizard window in the status bar.
