Target File Information

Restriction: This topic applies to Windows environments only.

This section of the Export window is where you specify the name of the file to which you want to export your XDB Server data, as well as the format to be used in that file and any other parameters required by the particular format.

File Name Enter the drive, path, and name of the file to which you want to export data. If you enter the name of a non-existent file, SQLWizard will create it. You can use the Browse button to select an existing file that you want to over-write.
Format Click the down-arrow button to display the drop-down list; select the format for your target file. SQLWizard can export data to free or fixed ASCII files, and mainframe-readable DSNTIAUL files. SQLWizard can also create SQL statements that you can run on another SQL database system to re-create the source table on that other system. You can include the data from the source file or just the table structure.
Other Target File Parameters Depending on the format of the target file, additional parameters may be required.
