Viewing Your Batch Command File

Restriction: This topic applies to Windows environments only.

The Import utility allows you to view the current import specifications as they would appear if they were saved to a Batch Import file. You can copy these commands to any text editor. This allows you to use SQLWizard to create any number of Batch Import transactions, and copy/append them in a file in your text editor. Later, you can use SQLWizard to run the series of import transactions as a batch file.

To view import specifications in Batch Import file format:

  1. Enter your import specifications.
  2. Click Batch Import Commands from the View menu.

The import specifications are displayed in a scrollable and sizable window. Use the cursor keys to navigate through the import specifications. Use the Save As command from the File menu to save the import command as a Batch Import file.
