The View Menu

Restriction: This topic applies to Windows environments only.

The View menu lets you redisplay the Catalog Browser if it has been closed. It also lets you display Migrate reports. Once a migration report is displayed, you can print it by selecting Print on the File menu.

The View menu contains the following commands:

View Browser Displays the Catalog Browser.

You can also use the View Browser
*
button on the toolbar to invoke this command.

Refresh Browser Refreshes the contents of the Catalog Browser. You must do this at the end of a migration to display the names of the newly-migrated tables.
Impact Analysis Displays the Impact Analysis Report. To display a report other than the last one, specify the file using Migrate on the Options menu before you select Impact Analysis.

You can review this report online or print it using Print on the File menu.

Post Execution Analysis Displays the Post Execution Analysis Report generated by the last migration. This report displays an analysis of the migration after you execute a migration. To display a report other than the last one, specify the file using Migrate on the Options menu before you select Post Execution Analysis.

You can review this report online or print it using Print on the File menu.

SQL Opens and views an SQL script file. Once a script is open, you can print it or cut and paste it to a Query window.
Batch Commands Enables you to view the contents of a MIG file. A MIG file contains complete specifications for running a migration. A MIG file can be recalled using Open on the File menu; it can be executed using Execute Batch on the File menu or by calling it from your system command line.
Error File Displays the error file generated by the last migration. To display a report other than the last one, specify the file using Migrate on the Optionsmenu before you select Error File.
