Restriction: This topic applies to Windows environments only.
The Rebind procedure does not read the DBRM. Rather, it recalculates path optimizations for the DBRM information in the existing package.
If you want bind to read the DBRM, see To Modify an Existing Package.
- In the Bind Utility window, from the Remote Location drop-down list, select the host location of the package you want to rebind.
- Click Rebind. The Rebind Package dialog box appears.
- Select the package you want to rebind from the Package drop-down list.
- If desired, specify a Package Version and the Isolation Level.
- If desired, click Bind under Modify Options to set other rebind options.
- Click Execute. The Bind Utility rebinds the package using the options you specified.
