To execute a stored procedure
Restriction: This topic applies to Windows environments only.
- From the SP Test tool, click a stored procedure on the tree view, then click
Run.
Note:
- The
Files tab automatically appears when you run a stored procedure for which no input or output filenames have been specified either directly or by selecting filenaming conventions via the Options dialog box, enabling you to specify these filenames at that time.
- If you have set your Options to automatically generate COBOL code but have not specified a filename on the
Files tab, the
Files tab appears automatically when you run the stored procedure, enabling you to specify the filename at that time.
- If you have set the
Prompt Save Script option to
True, you are prompted after the stored procedure executes to save or not save the command in the test script. If the stored procedure encounters errors while executing you do not receive this prompt.
