Drag and Drop Handling for Linked Eclipse Resources

Drag and drop for linked Eclipse resources are handled as follows:

Note:
  • By default, a drag and drop operation between Linked Eclipse Resources and other Linked Eclipse Resources or local workspace resources trigger a move operation. By using modifier keys, the drag and drop operation can be changed to a copy or link operation. The modifier key ctrl results in a copy, and the modifier key alt results in a link.
  • By default, a drag and drop operation between Linked Eclipse Resources and non-workspace resources (remote resources) triggers a copy operation.
  • Other drag and drop scenarios of linked Eclipse resources are not supported.
