Responding to a Printer Exit Return Code

The product verifies the return code from a JCL printer exit. If the code it is non-zero, the dataset that was sent to the printer exit has an Out Hold status, and not a Printed status.

If the code is zero, the record is marked as Printed.

Note: To release the dataset, click Release in the ESMAC view. This presents the dataset again to the printer exit.
