Creating Remote PL/I Projects

Restriction: You must have Micro Focus Enterprise Developer UNIX Components installed on the remote machine.
Note: When establishing a connection to a remote machine, you must select the type of file system to use for the connection, e.g. RSE or NFS. For more information see Developing applications on remote machines.

You can create new remote projects using the available templates - Enterprise Developer offers templates for creating remote PL/I and remote mainframe PL/I projects.

You can also use existing PL/I projects stored locally on your machine, and convert them to remote projects. The remote projects are stored, edited, debugged and run on the remote machine. The source projects remain in the original location on your machine.
