Transfer Data Tasks tab
Restriction: This topic applies to Windows environments only.
- Available Tasks list
- List of previously created local or shared transfer data tasks.
- Available Tasks Local button
- Show local transfer data tasks on the
Available Tasks list.
- Available Tasks Shared button
- Show shared transfer data tasks on the
Available Tasks list.
- Associated DDL Task list
- List of local or shared DDL tasks created using the Generate DDL tool.
- Associated DDL Task Local button
- Show local DDL tasks on the
Associated DDL Task list.
- Associated DDL Task Shared button
- Show shared DDL tasks on the
Associated DDL Task list.
- New
- Create a new transfer data task.
- Save
- Save the transfer data task specified in the
Available Tasks field.
- Revert
- Set changed fields and controls back to their last saved state.
- Delete
- Delete the transfer data task specified in the
Available Tasks field.
- Source Connection
- The name of an existing DB2 connection.
- Destination Connection
- The name of an existing SQL Server connection.
- Transfer
- Execute the task and transfer the data.
- Clear
- Clear the data tables in the destination SQL Server database.
- Customize
- Takes you to the
Customize Transfer Data tab where you can customize the transfer specifiations for individual tables.
- One SSIS package for each table
- Generate one SSIS package for each table specified in the transfer data task.
- Single SSIS package for all tables
- Generate a single SSIS package containing all of the tables specified in the transfer data task. In the generation process, each table receives a sequence number to differentiate it from other tables in the package.
- Export
- Export SSIS package or packages as specified by the selected radio button.
