Windows 8, 8.1, and Windows Server 2012
  • From the Start screen, click the HCO for SQL Server tile.
Windows 10 and Later
  • From your desktop, click Start > Micro Focus Enterprise Developer > HCO for SQL Server.
From Eclipse
  • Click Run > Tools > Data Tools > HCO for SQL Server.
Important: If you are using Windows UAC, you might be prompted to run HCOSS as an administrator when you start HCOSS in standalone mode. See Using HCOSS with Windows User Account Control (UAC) for more information.
Note: If HCOSS finds a more recent version of SQL Native Client or a more recent version of the ODBC Driver for SQL Server available on your machine, it prompts you with the option to upgrade your existing system and user connections to use the updated driver. You can turn this functionality off by unchecking Enable Checking for New ODBC Drivers on the Connection List tab or by checking Stop asking me on the prompt dialog box.
