Adding a local catalog filter

  1. In Server Explorer, expand Local.
    Note: If Server Explorer is not already displayed, click Window > Show View > Server Explorer.
  2. Expand the enterprise server that contains the local catalog.

    Each catalog already contains a default filter, which shows the entire contents of the catalog.

  3. Right-click Catalog, then click Add Filter.

    The Add Filter dialog box appears.

  4. In the Filter string field, enter one or more filter criteria, delimited by a comma or semi-colon, then click OK.

    The filter appears in the Server Explorer; expand it to filter the catalog.
