You can customize the editor from Window > Preferences > Micro Focus > JCL > Editor. Alternatively, you can right-click in the editor and select Preferences. You can change or customize the features such as colors, templates and typing. You can associate files with extensions other than .jcl with the JCL editor. See Window > Preferences > General > Editors > File Associations.
