Distributed Generation Server requires that certain components be installed both on the PC and on the mainframe.
The PC components of Distributed Generation Server are automatically installed with the AppMaster Builder AddPack.
The DGS mainframe components are provided by the AMB AddPack; however, you must install them onto your mainframe.
The Distributed Generation Server mainframe installation files are located by default in the %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Micro Focus\Enterprise Developer\etc\mainframe directory, and include:

| ISPPLIBH.bin | A binary image containing ISPF Help panels |
| ISPSLIB.bin | A binary image containing ISPF file tailoring skeletons |
| LOADLIB2.bin | A binary image containing executable files |
| instjcl.txt | A text file containing installation JCL |
If you are upgrading from a previous version of Distributed Generation Server, you need to replace the old Distributed Generation Server files on the mainframe with the new files supplied with this version.
