Configuring HCO for SQL Server Connections

The Enterprise Server for .NET software includes a user exit program to enable the configured HCO for SQL Server connections. These are then accessible to your applications.

To use this user exit, configure the region startup file for the region that runs the application. The application can then use the connections to access the HCOSS data.

The user exit is named MicroFocus.SEE.SqlExit.dll, and is located in the system bin folder %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Micro Focus\Enterprise Developer\binAnyCPU\SEE.

You specify the name MicroFocus.SEE.SqlExit in the region startup file.

Note: You do not need to specify the fully qualified name, as CICS applications use this system bin location for the user exit.
