An Enterprise Server for .NET installation consists of various components that run as Windows services, interacting with each other. By default, these services operate on the same machine using a default port. If scaling out an installation over multiple machines, or if you do not want to use the default port configuration, define the service endpoints so Enterprise Server for .NET services can transfer information as required.
