In a CICS resource definition, you can rename group items that do not have a
DFH prefix. Items with a
DFH prefix are system resources. You can use a hexadecimal name when renaming group items.
Use the following procedure to rename an item.
- In the Resource Editor, right-click the item to rename and choose
Rename.
The
Rename dialog box appears.
- In the Rename dialog box, select Text name or Hexadecimal name.
- Type the new resource name and click
OK.
