You can unlock a resource in a PDS or a QSAM data set as long as you are the owner of the lock. You should only perform this if you are sure that the resource is erroneously enqueued.
In the following example, member m00001 in the cabr12.ispf.doc PDS dataset is unlocked:
MFDAS UNLOCK PDS cabr12.ispf.doc MEMBER m00001
Use the GETENQI command to retrieve the current enqueue information.
