Save COBOL
Check this to save generated COBOL program source. AMB saves the source in the directory appropriate for your User Interface or data communications target.

If you do not check this option, Builder puts the generated COBOL into your TESTLIB area.

Save GENSRC
Check this to save generated source code in the GENSRC directory. Otherwise, AMB saves the generated source in APSEXPS and APSPROG.
Save MFS/BMS
Check this to save the generated MFS or BMS source code in GENPCMFS or GENPCBMS, respectively. Valid for an IMS or CICS program.
Generate non-OS/VS COBOL
Check this to generate non-OS/VS COBOL source code.
List generated COBOL
Check this to produce a listing of the generated code in a report format.
Generate program manifest
Check this to generate a program manifest for use with the AppMaster Builder Analysis Option.
Generate for S-COBOL debugging
Check this to generate S-COBOL code.
Use default APRPROG if none found
Check this to create a temporary APRPROG file during program generation in the case where no APRPROG file is found.
Show verbose log messages
Check this to see detailed generation messages in the Logger window. When unchecked, the Logger window shows only generation summary messages. The default is unchecked.
Enable Consolidated Tracing Facility
Check this to capture trace information detailing input and output processes and procedural flow. The log file created, ambctf.log, is written to the APSFTWRK folder. Default is unchecked.
Keep temporary files
Check this to retain the temporary files created during program and screen generation. Temporary files are located in the APSFTWRK directory, and contain information you can use to diagnose generation errors. The default is unchecked.
