To define an object transfer list

Restriction: This topic applies to Windows environments only.
  1. From the HCOSS Define Lists tool, click the Transfer Lists tab.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To define a new transfer list:
      1. Click New.
      2. In the Name field, type a name for the transfer list file.
      3. Click OK.
    • To edit an existing transfer list, select an existing list from the Available Transfer Lists drop-down list.
  3. Choose one of the following to apply to the Available Transfer Lists drop-down list:
    Local To save the generated transfer list file to the directory specified by the Local HCOSS Directory HCOSS option.
    Shared To save the generated transfer list file to the directory specified by the Shared HCOSS Directory HCOSS option.
  4. Choose one of the following to apply to the Associated Schema Extract drop-down list:
    Local To show local extracted schemas on the Associated Schema Extact drop-down list.
    Shared To show shared extracted schemas on the Associated Schema Extact drop-down list.
  5. From the Associated Schema Extract drop-down list, select a schema extract file created using the Extract Schema tool.

    The objects available from the Schema Extract file appear on the Available Objects list.

  6. To filter the list of available objects, use the fields in the Object Filtering and Selection group. Optional.
  7. Do one or more of the following to select objects to transfer:
    • To transfer one or more objects on the Available Objects list, select each object you want to transfer using a combination of mouse clicks and the Ctrl or Shift keys; then click Add.
    • To transfer all of the objects on the Available Objects list, click Add All.
    Note: Objects dependent on selected objects are added automatically.
  8. To remove objects from the Selected Objects list, do one of the following:
    • To remove one or more of the objects on the Selected Objects list, select each object you want to remove using a combination of mouse clicks and the Ctrl or Shift keys; then click Remove.
    • To remove all of the objects on the Selected Objects list, click Remove All.

  9. Click Save.
