To export a connection

Restriction: This topic applies to Windows environments only.
  1. From the HCO for SQL Server interface, click Manage Connections.
  2. From the connection list on the Export tab, select one or more connections you want to export.
  3. In the Export to File field, type the full path to and filename of a file to which you want to export the connection(s), or click the browse button to select or specify a file.
    Note:
    • The default file extension for exported connections is .xml.
    • If you don't specify a path, HCO for SQL Server puts the file into the bin directory of your installation.
    • If you specify an existing file, HCO for SQL Server prompts you to confirm the overwriting of that file.
  4. Click Export.
