To execute one or all bind script lines

Restriction: This topic applies to Windows environments only.
  1. From the HCOSS Manage Packages and Plans tool, either create or open a bind script file.
  2. Ensure that the script lines on the Bind Script Entries list appear in the order in which you want to execute them. If not, select a line and click Move Up or Move Down to change its position.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To execute one script line only, select the script line you want to execute; then click Execute Selected. In this case, if a script command fails, HCOSS displays an error message.
    • To execute all script lines in the order in which they appear on the list, click Execute All. In this case, if a script command fails, HCOSS displays an error message enabling you to click Cancel to cancel all further execution, or OK to continue with the next script command.
    Note:
    • You must successfully execute all BIND PLAN script lines to make the plans available to your run-time application.
    • All bind script execution results appear on the Results tab.
