Note: Ensure that any duplicate entries for
WebSphere MQ support are removed from the SIT, as this could cause connection conflicts.
- To create a listener in
Enterprise Server Administration

- Ensure that MQ listener support is enabled for your enterprise server instance. See
To enable MQ listener support for instructions.
- On the Home page of
Enterprise Server Administration, click
Edit next to the name of the enterprise server for which you want to create an MQ listener.
- Click
Server,
Properties,
MQ, and
MQ Listeners tabs.
- Click
Add.
- In the
Name field, type a name for the new MQ listener.
- In the
MQ Queue Name field, type the name of an existing MQ queue.
- In the
MQ Queue Manager Name field, type the name of the MQ Queue Manager that contains the queue specified in the
MQ Queue Name field.
- Ensure that
Enabled is checked (default).
- Click
Add.
- To create a listener in ESMAC

- Ensure that MQ listener support is enabled for your enterprise server instance. See
To enable MQ listener support for instructions.
- Start ESMAC for the enterprise server instance where you have enabled MQ listener support.
- On the ESMAC sidebar under
Resources, select
MQ from the drop-down menu.
- Click
Listeners.
- Click
New.
- In the
Name field, type a name for the new MQ listener.
- In the
Queue field, type the name of an existing MQ queue.
- In the
Queue Manager field, type the name of the MQ Queue Manager that contains the queue specified in the
Queue field.
- Click
Start.
Note: You can also create an MQ listener using the
casout command.
