Batch Backout is not supported for the following cases:
- BMP programs: BMP programs participate with online shared IMS databases and are not eligible for backout processing.
- GSAM databases are not supported for batch backout.
- Databases which have been made available to online BMP programs, IMS transactions, CICS transactions or ODBA applications are no longer eligible for batch backout processing.
- Batch Backout processing is currently limited to a single input log file.
DD concatenation or multiple input
DD statements are not supported. If there are multiple input log files, then you need to run the backout utility multiple times. Take care to process the files in the correct order.
- Recovery after a crash in the
Enterprise Test Server database engine may not be possible without external intervention.
