Accessing the Server Configuration Utility

For Windows environments

You can run the XDB Server Configuration utility in one of two modes:

• Blue screen – the XDB Server Configuration utility runs as part of the development environment and is available on all Windows environments.

  To start the XDB Server Configuration utility in blue screen mode, click Start > All Programs > Micro Focus Enterprise Developer > Data Tools > SQL Option for DB2 > Server > XDB Server Monitor.

• Service – the XDB Server Configuration utility runs as a Windows service.

  To start the XDB Server Configuration utility as a service, start your Windows Control Panel, double-click Micro Focus XDB Server, then click Configure.

For UNIX environments

To start the XDB Server Configuration utility, enter xdbsrvco at the command line prompt.
