The upper section of the Query Design window is known as the Table Display Area. The tables you select are added to the Table Display Area and are shown in Column Selection Lists. It is in this way that you can choose specific columns in a table for your query while in Query Design mode. The name of each table selected appears in the title bar of each Column Selection List. If there is a join relationship between two tables, you will see a line connecting the tables.
