Define a Service Interface

Each service interface you create is comprised of a set of operations. For a CICS Screen service interface, each operation addresses a screen encountered by the program. We will define these four operations to enable users to retrieve and display account information from the database by providing the account number:

• Start - to start up the ACCT application
• Enter Account Number - to set the request type to display account information, and to expose the account number for input
• Get Account Data - to retrieve and expose the data for the specified account number
• On Error - to provide a message when an error is encountered
