Specifies the type of data compression to be done on sequential and indexed files.
Note: Supported by the DBDGEN mfims utility.

Use of the DATACOMPRESS DBDGEN directive maps directly to the DATACOMPRESS COBOL compiler directive. See DATACOMPRESS for details.
