These are the available file formats:

Line Sequential - no conversion necessary
Liant Sequential Fixed Length - no conversion necessary
Liant Indexed (aka) - IBM/Informix CISAM - conversion necessary ^*
Liant Relative Record - conversion optional ^**
Liant Sequential (Variable Length) - conversion optional ^**

^* Conversion is necessary if utilizing PLI IO Verbs.

^** Conversion is only necessary if you intend to utilize the data within Micro Focus Enterprise Server and/or share the files with Micro Focus COBOL Programs.
