Enterprise Developer Personal Edition provides a development environment that supports analysis, editing and syntax checking of COBOL and mainframe programs outside of the mainframe environment. However, it does not support the production of an output file (.int, .gnt, .obj, .exe) during compilation; for that, you need to use Enterprise Developer.
