To start HCOSS in standalone mode:
- Click
Start > All Programs > Micro Focus Enterprise Developer > Data Tools > HCO for SQL Server.
Note: On Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012, you use the Start screen to invoke programs.
To start HCOSS from
Enterprise Developer:
- Click
View > Micro Focus SQL Tools >
HCO for SQL Server Tools.
Note:
- If HCOSS finds a more recent version of SQL Native Client or a more recent version of the ODBC Driver for SQL Server available on your machine, it prompts you with the option to upgrade your existing system and user connections to use the updated driver. You can turn this functionality off by unchecking
Enable Checking for New ODBC Drivers on the
Connection List tab or by checking
Stop asking me on the prompt dialog box.
- If you are using Windows UAC, you might be prompted to run HCOSS as an administrator when you start HCOSS from the
