Running a macro

You can run a macro when you run an application in the IDE as follows:

  1. Ensure you have added macro files to your project.
  2. Run your application and open the embedded Rumba mainframe display.
  3. Click the Run macro button Run Macro on the toolbar of the display.
  4. In the Select Macro dialog box, select a macro file and click OK.

Alternatively, you can:

  1. Ensure you have added macro files to your project.
  2. Start debugging your application.
  3. In Solution Explorer, right-click the macro file and click Play Macro.
    Tip: To interrupt a macro while it is running, click the Stop macro button Stop Macro on the toolbar of the embedded mainframe display window.
