To specify the project properties:
- In Solution Explorer, double-click the
Properties folder, and click the
COBOL tab.
- Ensure that
Source Format is set to
Fixed.
- Make sure
Enterprise COBOL for z/OS COBOL dialect is selected.
- Set
Character set to
ASCII.
- On the
Debug tab, select
JCL from the drop down list for
Active Settings.

Ctrl+S
to save the changes in the project properties.
