Create an MSS-enabled Enterprise Server

To create an MSS-enabled Enterprise Server:

1. Launch Visual Studio.
2. Open Server Explorer.

   If it is hidden, display it by choosing View > Server Explorer.

3. Expand Micro Focus Servers.
4. Right-click localhost, and click New Enterprise Server.

   The Create New Enterprise Server dialog box appears.

5. Type JCLDEMO in the Name field.
6. Leave the 64-bit box unchecked.
7. Click the browse button next to the Template field.

   This opens the location of the Enterprise Developer server templates, which is %Program Files%\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0\Common7\IDE\Extensions\Micro Focus\Visual COBOL SOA\1.0\Etc\ServerTemplates by default.

8. Select JCLTemplate.xml, and click Open.
9. Click OK.

   The Output window displays a notification that the server has been created.

10. In Server Explorer, expand localhost to check that the JCLDEMO server has been added.
